Thank you for the good wishes. I worked until noon, then took 1/2 day vacation and had lunch with my parents. Mom & I then shopped downtown. All we bought were hairbows for Deanna. That's how it works when you are a mom. Buy for the child and not much for yourself. I didn't have cake and ice cream but I did have a huge "cow patty" cookie for dessert after lunch. For those of you who haven't had one, it's a no bake cookie with oatmeal and cocoa in it. Mmmmmm. It's almost 8 p.m. and I haven't had dinner yet. Probably won't. Just go to bed and start over tomorrow!

After I posted last night, Patrick came in with a cake, and Deanna sang "Happy Birthday" to me! We were eating chocolate caramel cake at 9:00 p.m.!!!
