I'm having a great Christmas in July..and speaking of my avatar, Santa's probably not asleep at this time! (That avatar came from the NORAD site, from when Santa arrives home from the big trip-you can bet he's worn out!)

It;s Christmas In July. That means that Christmas is only 5 months away. Our local radio station is playing Christmas songs, but not exclusively Christmas songs. They may play 4 or 5 regular songs and then play a Christmas song. But any Christmas song is better than none at all.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/AuntieMistletoe/GrinchMax.jpg I read the How the Grinch Stole Christmas from a collection of Seuss stories I have to a group of 3.5-4 year olds. Two of them got bored, the rest loved it.

I also spent the afternoon at the waterfront riding carousels and mini train with a group of 4-5 year old campers and Santa was there.

At work, I had AccuHolidays Radio North Pole playing through my speakers, I left it on a little louder than usual, I counted down the days remaining on the wipe board and only heard one groan, most people laughed or sighed or asked "who put that there?" - only one wanted to meet me outside later. HaHa.
