Do you like Christmas wrapping paper or the reuseable christmas bags.

Myself I prefer wrapping paper then I don't have to store all those bags for 11months. I only use bags if I have something ackward to wrap.

I prefer the wrapping paper. I do use bags for gifts for teachers and for weird shaped items.

I like wrapping paper. I just love to watch the kids tearing into it.. I don't know why it's just fun. I do use bags for adults sometimes though.

I still like to wrap. Bags are convenient and sometimes necessary but I will wrap everything I can. Its just not Christmas without a good wrapping session.

I love wrapping paper, I usually buy too much of it...I used to love wrapping and would do my mom's and grandma's for them...Now that i'm older, I have 4 kids, and usually am busy and have alot of things to wrap, I don't enjoy it as much...I mean I still love it, but I do get tired of it when I have a million things to do....I love finding cute bags, last year I got a cute set from costco...I only use bags when it's something hard to wrap, or I'm just plain out of time (usually on christmas eve, dead tired and need to get everything under the tree).

Sugar I used to do all the wrapping for my mom too! I would pick a night and drive up and spend hours in her floor in front of the tree wrapping. This was when my nephews were very small and she had a ton of gifts to give them. Mom and Paps would sit and watch me and we would talk Christmas while I was wrapping away!

Bags are easy, but paper is still the best.

Wrapping paper is the best, tearing that open! Plus that way you can hide their presents better by putting a bigger box around it.

Without a doubt I prefere the wrapping paper. If you wrap a present it shows you care and took the time to wrap the present. And there's nothing better than seeing someone rip open your gift. If you put your item in a bag to me it says you weren't worth the 5 minutes to warp your gift. I'm just a christmas traditionalist.

I'm another one of the "family wrapping experts." Ever since Jr High I did all the wrapping for my mom. She would even tape up plain boxes for me to wrap and I would be surprised on Christmas morning to find they were for ME!

Today I put as much effort into choosing the wrapping as I do the present. I love different themes from using brown craft paper and homespun bows to glittering foil wraps covered in waves of wired ribbon.

I also love finding matching Christmas tree ornaments and using them as package decorations too. This may be seen as overboard, but there are always a few things I put into Christmas stockings that are also wrapped, just because I can and it uses up the odd paper remnents. It has the benefit of making Christmas morning last longer.

I like to wrap early so that the packages themselves become Christmas decorations and more than once I've heard people say that the boxes were too pretty to open. .... Nobody ever says that about a bag, but they do have their place.

Love wrapping paper! I would wrap for my mom when I was little because she didn't have time with three kids. I wrapped for my grandmother because she loved Christmas but not wrapping the gift. She would have me wrap the gift while she picked out the tag and bow and wrote on the tag. I learned to wrap from the clothing store downtown that had free gift wrapping. I'm good at it!

I use bags when the gift really can't be wrapped well. I'll never run out of Christmas bags because my mom prefers bags so I get lots every year! If she needs wrapping paper, she calls me to bring her some of mine!

I really won't run out of baby girl bags from all the gifts we got when Deanna was born. I won't run out of birthday & generic bags from Deanna's birthday parties.

Anybody need a bag????

I love wrapping paper, I'm just not good at wrapping! 2797 If something is square, I do a better job, so I try to cram anything and everything into a square box, just so I can do a half-way decent job of wrapping. Mom, she's a beautiful gift-wrapper.

for me its also gotta be wrapping paper-nothing nicer than all the different festive designs on the paper, and all the choice etc. and l LOVE unwrapping gifts, l think there is no thought put into a bag, unless of course you wrap it, and then bag it-thats a good idea!!!

I still love to wrap so its wrapping paper for me. There are a few times that I have to use the bags but it has to be a special one. Don't get me wrong the bags are nice but I also love to see the grandkids tear into the packages and the paper, bows and ribbon go flying. Besides most of the bags arent big enought for my grandkids heads and the bows and ribbons look so cute tied to the top of their heads esp the grandsons.

I would have to say I love to wrap gifts even if I put it in a bag to give my tree a pleasant look. I use the bags to hide the size of the item I wrapped. Like the year I gave my daughters there first diamond ring. I didn't want them to know what was in the box so I wrapped the small ring box then put it in a bigger box and wrapped that and then I stuck it in a bag with lots of tissue paper. I love disguising my gifts. I use bags when I have to take a gift to some one else's house just cause it is easier to carry. I always wrap the gift inside. My friends say I like to wrap just because I want to keep there joints moving by using alot of tape. LOL

I love wrapping paper!

Bags are can be pretty and they are nice to use for odd shaped gift items, but if it can be wrapped then its wrapped!

Back when I was still able to work and getting tons of OT, I used to go wild with my Christmas shopping....buying everyone tons of gifts. I didn't feel I needed to, I just enjoyed it so much. Anyway, I used to buy the sweater/shirt boxes for all my clothing gifts and I have to admit, because I don't wrap well and because I would get lazy, I'd often simply place the item of clothing in the box and tag it! I mean, most of the boxes you buy are very pretty and it seems almost a shame to wrap them. That's what I convinced myself, anyway. :-)

I would have to say for definite that i love to wrap them myself. They may look like they've been wrapped by a small child and then mangled by the cats - but that's the fun in it for me!

I end up covering myself and any person/cat within the area with cellotape, curse a few times when corner's rip but LOVE IT!!!

Yes, indeed!

I would have to go with paper...I also spend quite a bit of time finding just the right kind and design...but bags are handy for odd-sized items, too.

It really depends on the recipient.

Children: paper with big bows - they love it
Adults: beautiful paper with satin elaborate bows and tags
Senior citizens: Some them have trouble manipulating bows becasue of joint problems so I have a tendency to stick with beautiful gift bags, pretty tissue paper and a bell attached to one of the handles

I do think the wrapped packages and bows look much prettier. But I never could wrap pretty. So the bags and tissue or much easier.

Wrapping paper for the most part, but it does depend on how big the gift is.2797
