The rules are :-

1. To buy a SECRET SANTA gift
2. To wrap and send the present out by December 8th
3. You can join this Secret Exchange until 11th November, and I will send out your recipient's details on the 12th November

I'm getting my gift sorted out on Monday hopefully. Being stuck in the house due to kitchen/ central heating fiasco I've not had a lot of chances to shop. But I do know what I'm buying. Might be able to get it tomorrow because the shop will be open.

All l gotta say is, my partner will know its from me as l put a return address on the back and l wrote who its from on the actual wrapping paper!! l hope that this was allowed, coz l defo dont want another pressie getting lost.

Wooooooooooohooooooooooooooo l recieved my package today, l was soooooo excited, l opened it whilst walking home from the PO!!!
Sooooooooo, with the postmark being Isle of Man l just wanna say a huge thankyou to Spiky for my package :)
l will obviously have to take pics of the unopened gifts, and of course once they are opened, which Spiky said l can do now, hmmmmmmm shall l or sall l not?!?!?!? Very tempting, but l am trying to be good.
One pressie is a bit torn on the paper anyway so maybe l can "accidentally" tear it a bit more?!?!?

According to the Royal Mail website last date for posting standard parcels in the UK is the 15th. You had me in a panic for a while there Tess.

The postal service should not strike during the holidays. That doesn't set well with folks that live there. It isn't the postal service that is suffering it is however the folks that rely on the service. I would be tempted to start a online card exchange next year to send all the postal services a strong dis satisfaction with their service just because of the lousy handling of mail this year. I am sorry you havn't recieved your packages bb and ss.

Do you think we should do a gift exchange next year and put our full address on back? I only put my house number & postcode on the back of the envelope

i sent mine special delivery , so it had to be signed for

think next year if we do a uk one , we will ask that they need to be signed for
the cheapest option for signed for is only something like 70p

In hindsight I should've done that, but there was so much going on here with the workmen and stress of the new kitchen/central heating and my birth certificate going missing when applying for my daughters passport I just didn't think about getting it signed.

My parcel was just left outside my door,no postcard saying 'You were out, please collect from local sorting office', which normally happens with packages that don't fit in letterbox. I might have my parcel next year sent to where my OH works at the hospital all the stuff I buy online goes there.

I already know what my gift will be. LOL Whoever gets it will LOVE it.
