So what do you want to accomplish in 2009 that you haven't go done in this year of 2008.

I hope to get all the gardening stuff that I didn't get done this year done next year, which is to restain my Cedar bench that looks like a birdhouse done, my arbor, my gardenshed wall baskets. Organize my house and pay better attention to what is going on with me.

I hope to keep ahead of my weeds this year and spraying the fruit trees.

I would like to downsize a lot of my flowers and yard work

Get rid of more clutter that I have collected over the years.

Keep Healthy

I'd definitely like to have a healthier 2009....some I know I can accomplish on my own, but the rest, I know is out of my control.

I'd like to be a better daughter, sister, friend, niece, Aunt, etc. I try to make everyone happy, but now there's always room for improvement.

I'd like to also work on being less of a collector or is the word, hoarder? LOL

Christmas Fanatic,
I can relate to that really well! Ha ha. I think my goal is not to collect anythng else and to part with some of what I have. It was fun collecting it and garage saling etc. but now I am having to spend my time getting rid of it all!!!
I told my friend whom I used to garage sale with on our noon hour......'what did you let me buy all this junk for'!!!!!!

I have not been in a flea market for over a year........I don't dare go in! LOL

We've got to fast-track updating our home's electrical wiring (starting next week), and plumbing. The foundation also needs leveling. The house was built in the early sixties, so these things need to be done before I retire again. I may be out of a job within two years whether I like it or not! Our three year plan is out the window! Speaking of windows, we need to update those as well!

If that ain't enough, we have a fairly good sized tree in the back yard that needs to be cut and desposed of. (As always boys and girls, a preposition is a terrible thing to end a sentence with.)

2009 will be expensive! But, if I have to be at home and out of work, at least I'll have a place to live and I don't think I'll miss any meals! We are blessed!

09 is big for me. My goal is to be more professional, less drinking. I'll be starting my job full time in May, and its time I start becoming more involved. Working out and staying in shape is also huge.

I know I said 09, but I'm starting today, this week... cutting down on drinking (as a college kid its hard), but its time to, I will be more professional, a safer driver, and mature, and get more involved in my faith, I will also get in to better shape...

STARTS TODAY! I'm excited to get this new start. Isn't it great to move positively!?

LOL It's nice to know there are others that share our little problem, Snowflake! I seriously need to show more self-control in that area of my life!

I have been trying to stress less and live one day at a time and I plan to carry that over into 2009. I would also like to be healthy. I am overweight for the first time in my life pretty much and I am going to get rid of it :)

Every year, I vow to more patient than the last and work on my self-examination process. So it continues for 2009.

I would have to say stress-less as well (that won't be hard once hubby comes home in Feb.) and stop slacking off so much around the house. Also to try to get this business off the ground.

Good for you Jolly heather. Quitting smoking is really hard to do, I know. I quit five years ago and have two lapses since then. It isn't easy at all. But not smoking makes you feel so much better. I smoked for about 45 years so I know how tough it is. My doctor knows when I have a lapse and smoke a ciggarette cause he says when did you have that ciggarette. I laugh and tell him he is spying on me. LOL I think two lapses in five years is not bad as long as I don't keep doing it. I will help cheer you on JollyHeather and you can cheer me on. You don't want that nasty smelling stick anyways. I know I really don't either.

Hopefully the central heating and kitchen will be done by then, so we can get on with decorating the rest of the house, no point starting it now.

I'd like to be more organised and less forgetful and impatient.

I'd like to be able to be on top of my corresopondence, rather than have it pile up.
