So it is 8:20 and hubby is still in bed. There is not a new car in the driveway but there is two really large boxes in front of the tree. The stocking is full and I am sitting here wanting to wake him up. ugggh.

lol it is 7:20 here....the kids opened 2 gifts and are itching for me to hurry up and make breakfast...which I will here in about 8 minutes. Then they can open the rest of their gifts. The kids have been up since 6am and tried their hardest not to wake me...but I was up since 5am! lol

So you're 7 hours behind us in the UK. Mine were up around 7ish, and have staggered opening pressies. They're now upstairs playing table football. I like getting board games/family games. It gets them off the PS2 &the computer. No PS2 games this time round.

I got my new microwave and a waffle maker. But the best gift of all was a new computer chair. Oh I love it. I wasn't expecting it but it is the best gift of all. I asked for the other gifts but I didn't ask for this one. I was going to buy myself one when they got it back in stock. I never thought about ordering it online. D'oh. All the kids gave me gift cards no surprise there. LOL

I received alot of Thomas Kinkade things from my mom, like the stages of the life of Jesus wreath, a snowman & an angel. 2 pairs of PJ's, numerous scented candles, & A NEW FLAT SCREEN MONITOR for my computer from my daughter & her BF.

I got the Christmas Classics dvd set and a pair of earrings. Yesterday I got a patchwork crocheted afghan from my grandmother. She made one for each of us girls. It's beautiful!!

I made out like a bandit! I got a Red Sox Jersey, Romo Jersey, Christmas sweater and a Wii.

Well even through Christmas has been sad for us I got things that I really like.

You are now probably wondering why I have said that christmas has been sad for us. My mother-in-law passed away on December 23rd, she lives 2 and a half hours from us so we have been talking with the older brother who has been handling all the arrangements, so christmas has been very sad for us.

I got a Snowman platter, wineglasses with snowflakes on them, dish towels, a big snowman for the table a rack for the fridge to put pop on, a digital meat fork, lots more.2797

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your MIL, Mother Christmas. I'm sure this has saddened an otherwsie happy time for you all. You have my sincerely sympathies.

Oh, I got so many wonderful gifts, this year. I got a blu-ray player, something I didn't ask for or expect, a few BR discs, several DVDs, PJs, tin Christmas signs, Christmas mug, MP3 player, digital camera, Denver Broncos tees, a Notre Dame pullover rain jacket and many other ice gifts. Oh and my youngest niece painted each of us a resin Christmas ornament!

Arrrg... I can't seem to get my computer to retrieve photos from my camera today, or else I would have some visuals.

I got a portable weather station for camping (it's about the size of a blackberry and accesses the weather forecast for where ever you're located.), a "pocket rocket" backpack stove, new day hiking shoes and merino wool hiking socks and a small assortment of LED flashlights.

I got some fishing gloves that have fold-back covers for the fingers and thumb, a collection of trout flies, a pair of fishing pliers and a zip front balaclava.

I also got a collection of warm, fuzzy scarves and gloves, a couple of nice sweaters, a new purse, a cute pair of opal earrings and a gift box of my favorite perfume.

There were also a couple of gift cards as well, to LL Bean and Soft Surroundings, two of my favorite stores.

The best part was being in a small house with 10 other people the entire day and not getting a headache! It can get rather loud when the whole gang is together.

I got a buddha water feature,2 dinner sets, perfumes, body washes and scrubs, gift vouchers, candle wall hanging thing and another candle thing feature... and chocolates

From my husband I got a teapot and matching cup (I collect teapots), a bottle of purfume I asked for, and the collectors addition of a christmas story...I got some purfume from my cousin...From my mom I got the Anne of Green Gables anniversary dvd set, a new shabby chic bathroom rug, and a flower thing for my bathroom, a teapot that was her mom's (My mom gave all of us kids something that was in our family), some things from bath and body works (some other things, but I can't remember)...Chloe made us a calander in school, it's very cute...Molly bought me a vase, Chloe bought me a christmas mug, and Allison bought me a weird little doll box thing (She said I can keep my earings in it lol, it's very cute and such an Allison kind of a gift)...I got some pretty earings and a matching necklace from my inlaws...(One of their packages was lost, and we didn't get all their presents)
