I dunno Light but made me sick that after DH and I discussed it we
threw out a new jar of it! Hope the FDA finds out what the cause is
for all these illnesses and deaths and the relationship to peanut butter.
The tomato growers sure suffered a big loss when they had problems
with them.

I feel very sorry for those that died from it and wish there was a better
and quicker way to detect the source.

Yeah they are saying a batch was put out with salmonilla from a Georgia Plant it is peanut paste too, that is put in cookies, Ice Cream, and other things. Anything with peanut butter. I eat alot of Peanut butter. I am addicted to it. Now it is back out that it is bad for you.
Last time I couldn't find peanut butter for months and now it is being attacked again. Why can't these folks wash there hands when they are working with a food product????

I love peanut butter, but gee, my Dad must go through a jar at least every two weeks, but it might be less than that, even. He'd be a wreck if he couldn't get his hands on the stuff.

I tried to buy peanut butter today and because the Virginia plant was also contaminated there isn't peanut butter on the shelves. I have to go to Richmond tomorrow to restock. ugghhhh83452345Those people are killing me that work in the peanut butter wharehouses.83452345

There was something on the news here about this, but only briefly. It said over 500 people have been made ill by it and 8 possible deaths.
