I got a book from Iowa Santa Claus that was wonderful reading for the Christmas Fanatic.
It is called Christmas Memories of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus by New York Times Bestselling Author Charlie Jones
It is a group of letters from Santa's all over the globe that wanted to share a memorable memory while portraying Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. Some of the letters had me laughing so hard I was crying. Some were so wonderful I was crying. I had to keep the box of kleenex next to me thru out the entire book. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is great. Our very own Iowa Santa Claus has a couple of letters in there too!!!
Here is what Charlie Jones says at the beginning.
Enjoy this wonderful collection of Christmas remembrances of "real" Santa Claus. Their heartfelt stories will make you laugh and cry. And yes, these men and women who you see at your shopping center at Christmas time, are the real Santa Claus as that is what they become when they put on that jolly red suit.

thanks, sounds like a good read. I added it to my Amazon.ca wish list for future purchase.

I'd recommend "The Red Suit Diaries by Ed Butchart"

for anyone who hasn't heard of it before, quite an enjoyable book as well!

I have the same book, LIU! I was reading a few memories each night from about a week before Christmas until last night. I totally felt like I was a witness to the transformation of Santa within each tale.

I'm really glad I didn't throw Santa "off his game" the Christmas before last when I was telling him what I wanted, I almost whispered the ClausNet address to him. When he spoke to me, I realized he was Santa and I couldn't hurt his feelings by inferring he wasn't believable. He was Santa. That's why I approached him. I wanted to know if he had ever been to Santa College, but again restrained myself from asking.

A few years ago, while lighting the annual luminaries with my dad, brother and a few neighbours, the lady next door to my parents' told me she collects Christmas books. I told her about the book I was working on.

I have such a small collection of Christmas books, but I really don't read as much as I used to.
