It's been 3 months since my wrist break...I cannot believe what a toll it has taken on my everyday life with what I can and cannot do. I am back at work, thank God... and get full physical therapy with doing hair and nails not to mention my 2X week sessions with the Physical Therapist in the doctors office. Things are looking up currently but want to caution everyone to watch your step. BTW...I have gained 7 lbs with inactivity for 2 1/2 months laying on recliner. I am on an uphill climb to get back to normal self and take off the extra lbs gained.

Thank you guys...Light..funny you should mention dancing..I turned on some tunes last sunday evening and found myself dancing around on the lanai. Couldn't help myself, the music was so great. Lol. I love to dance and will do it whenever I hear songs that inspire me..

I was complaining about gaining so much weight this past year and my doctor told me that dancing burns more fat than anything else. He said it is the best exercise. Get up and dance around. I think it is fun too. Beats walking and jogging LOL

Cheering you on here Twinkle for a "lifting of spirits" I know it must have
been difficult having so many usual activities limited with your injury. So
here is a "get better and be happy" toast for you! 83210

My son broke his left wrist over the weekend. We are very lucky it was not as bad as yours. It has been hard already on him. You are such a strong woman, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to hear about the break, Twinkle. I hope it won't be long before you're back to all the activities you enjoy.

Thank you Christmas Fanatic...Things are coming along fine and just a matter of time to realize full recovery.
Jollyhelper...Oh, wow...I'm feeling for your son with his wrist break..It's not fun but he's young and will bounce back in no time...I know he's feeling the inconvenience and praying for his patience through it all.

Thank you so much! I have learned that with 16 year olds patience is not something they possess.

Good to hear you are getting to your old self now.
You will lose the weight in no time with the dancing!
If not and in case you have a nintendo ds there is a walking divice to help you move more. It's fun!
