How is everyone doing?!

Well, husband got back from Iraq in Feb. We have been doing a lot of things as a family since then. It has been great having him home. The kids and I are loving it. He surprised me a couple of weeks ago with a trip (for all of us) to Texas to see my parents! I was totally thrilled! We went down and spent about 5 days there. My parents loved it as well as the kids =)

School starts up again here in about 2 1/2 weeks, on Aug 20th.
My son's 8th birthday is Aug 29th and will be having a party that day.
My daughter's 7th birthday is Sept 9th but her party will be Sept. 5th.
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will be starting back up again for the kids.
I am a Co-Leader for the FRG (Family Readiness Group) in my husband's Company. Which means I have a lot of say on how we will be supporting our guys on the next deployment...and before & after.
Deployment is coming around again in the beginning on next year, so hubby is doing classes and training up for that right now. We already started talking to the kids again about him leaving. Trying to prepare for it....again.

So as you can see, busy, busy busy! But I figured this would be a good time to start coming back and talking to ya'll again. I have missed ya'll! Things are going back into a pattern so I will have a little more free time. 3dfs9

Thanks everyone! Busy is always a good thing. I hope I stay busy once he leaves again.

Over here the family moves around with the forces does that not happen over there?

Only time we move with our Soldiers is when we are PCSing to another post in the United States, Germany or a few others around the world. We never go anywhere where we would be in danger.

HUGS TESS!!!

MC, every minute counts for us =)

Teresa, thank you and I will be sure to tell him.

We have missed you shelle. Spend all the time you can with hubby. I know what those long tours in war zones are like. I will pray the war will be over with before Christmas. At least have most of the taliban locked up some where they can never harm another person.
Have fun and enjoy your time with your husband. I bet this is going to be one heck of a Christmas for you guys.
Welcome back.sdfgeewksdfgeewk

Thanks LIU!

Yeah we already started Christmas shopping for the kids to make sure we have a good Christmas this year. The big gifts for them this year will be iPods. We have to get 1 more big toy for our son, then the iPods. A gift card & earrings for my step-daughter in CA. Maybe a few little things here and there but we are almost done. We are going to make it great this year.

AND he will be here for both of our anniversaries too (been together-9yrs & married-6yrs)! This will be our 3rd wedding anniversary together.... I am so excited!!
