My other half is after your title!!

We've got friends arriving from Canada 2 weeks tomorrow. Bruce leaves for uni 2 weeks today (great timing isn't it, she asks, wearing her sarcastic head). Sandy decided, after deciding not to, to tile the bathroom. After completely taking off the old tiles round the bath, he also succeeded in removing the plasterboard underneath it and loosening the pipe couplings (albeit unintentionally) causing water to gush through our downstairs neighbours dining room light fitting, onto her laptop and everything else in a 12 mile vicinity - 3 times. I currently have huge holes in the walls, no floor of which to speak of and a bathtub in the hall. All in a home with only one bathroom. "We" don't ask for help from professionals!!!!

I've run out of Rescue Remedy and alcohol; please advise......

I am with DVD Guy and I don't even drink! Get more alcohol, get rid of hubby (temporarily) and call a professional.

Write a letter to RTL4 in the netherlands. They have a tv programma called "help my other half does his own DIY!". When they come they help the other half to do it all propperly and safe the marriage.
Or just bey some more alcohol...
9456823 for you and come in here every now and then to let go all the frustration!

We now have walls and a new set of built in shelves (they were a surprise!!) No tiles as yet but hey, still two days to go before the guests arrive and we have a super industrial size bucket of adhesive, not to mention the grout (the tiles are in the shed!)

It may not be Homes and Gardens ready by Sunday, but it should (operative word there is "should"!) be functional by then!!!!

I never doubted him for a minute!!!

Love,

Pinnochio
