Does anyone have tried and true fruitcake recipe they could share with me? I've never made a fruitcake before but would love to give it a shot.

Thanks

My aunt used to bake a Chip 'n' Cherry Cake from Better Homes and Gardens magazine. It sure is good even though it isn't a traditional fruitcake. If you've never tasted fruitcake, I recommend trying Claxton's. It tastes better than other brands.

They have the same recipe at cooks.com.

I have made a few but i could not find the recepies. I would just take one from the internet that has ingredients i like and make that. And then i would write my comments about it with it (on a printed version) so i could adjust it to my wishes the next time.
Good luck with it!

1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped mixed candied fruit

1/4 cup halved candied cherries
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions

Line a 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan with waxed paper; coat the paper with cooking spray; set aside. In a saucepan, combine milk and orange juice concentrate. Add marshmallows; cook and stir until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat. Stir in remaining ingredients; mix well. Pat into prepared pan. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Yield: 1 loaf.

I've had this type before, but, at the moment, my recipe is missing.
