I need to loose 25 lbs. Doesn't sound like a whole bunch but when you think that every pound will put a meal on a table for a hungry child out there it is a lot. So I think we should sign up for the pound for pound challenge on the biggest looser and keep track of how well we do on here. What do you think.

try it again twinkle I fixed it. I will check out sparkpeoples. The pound for pound challenge will donate a pound of food to food banks in your area for every pound of weight you loose. I joined the challenge and it has really helped me to want to get up and exercise and loose that 25 lbs so I can put 25 pounds of food in our local food banks and not spend a dime doing it.

I can't do a lot of exercise but i'm trying to remember to get on my treadmill every day. I think Monday I walked 35 minutes which is good for me. But I haven't been on there since so that's not much good. I just let time slip away. I've been keeping pretty close to 40-30-30 since May and my calories under 1500 and i've lost about 22 lbs. That's slow but as long as I'm losing. I know if I remembered to walk every day it would help. I'm just tracking with fitday.com.

One of the things I do to lose weight, granted I need to preserve muscle too is lower my carbs. Look at how many carbs a regular soda has. Yikes, diet soda eliminates this. Also make sure the carbs you injest are the right kind (green veggies, brown rice, whole grain bread etc), and drinking A LOT of water. I'm talking about 10 liters of water a day. I know that's a lot, but I need that as my body is used to it (it can be dangerous to drink that much for some people though).

Being in to bodybuilding, I gain to gain muscle, and unfortunately fat, and then cut. I'm on a cut now, and I went from 202 lbs in size 36 pants to 175 lbs in size 32 pants in a few months.

I allowed myself to gain back up to about 190 or so, and I've since cut back down. I'm in size 32 pants easily now. Now I'm on a high protein-high fat, low carb diet. Between 50-100 net carbs at the MOST. around 100g of fats. Technically not the ketogenic diet, per say, but I'm trying it out. Regular mayo on my chicken, sure! Pasta, eh not until the weekend, which is my carb up days.

I think everything in moderation, except sugary things, should be okay.

That's my update as of now.

I quit the Keto diet. Couldn't get the ketosis to kick in. I'm enjoying a bit more carbs, but still trying to keep them lean. I couldn't do that fat often in my diet.

More of a moderation diet, and enjoying it. I'm sure I'll slowly gain back up, but it is that season!

I'm going to start doing more cardio.
