ONE OF OUR ALL TIME FAVES!!


6 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. grated cheese
6 slices bread, cubed (We use Hashbrowns)
1 lb. cooked, crumbled sausage

Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper, mustard, and cheese well. Pour over bread and sausage in a 9x13 inch dish. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

This sounds really good! I don't really like dry mustard, would you have any suggestions for a substitution?

i would just say omit it and just add salt and pepper for taste.....Or any spice you think you would injoy!!! We have done a few diffrent ones added other items too see what we like :)

That does sound really good!

We usually just have the standard eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and toast. My brother-in-law is a cook at a restauraunt in town, so he has made breakfast the past few years.

I think that's a recipe I used years ago that was in the Mennonite Community Cookbook. I used whole wheat instead of white bread, and it was yummy! Thanks for posting this...I might make it this week.

That really does sound good. I always made one with ham in it, it was sort of souffle, and have been looking for something different. This shound really easy and good.
