what you do?
Mix all ingredients and roll out?
Or do you need to process the dough like (rough) puff pastry?
I think i would like to try this.

Hi!
I usually make the paste and marmelade a day before making the stars
Blend the eggs and cream together an whip to its foaming, then put in the mixed flour with baking powder and mix it well and then you put in the softy whiped butter and work it in, when you done put the paste into fridge for least 2 hours before so its get cold and firm.
marmelade, boil dried seedless plums and some water and sugar and mix.
I will send some pictures

Easy method:
Roll out a sheet of puff pastry thin enough to cut 16 squares about 3″ x 3″.
Cut each corner towards the middle of the square, leaving enough room for a little dab of jam. Fold alternating corners into the middle, making a little pinwheel.
Seal the corners with a small drop of water.
Bake on parchment paper at 350 degrees until golden, about 10 minutes.
When they're done baking, dust them with powdered sugar.

Easy Prune Filling:
2 (8-ounce) jars (baby food) junior pack prunes
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons fresh or bottled lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg or cloves
In small saucepan, over low heat, simmer prunes, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon about 15 minutes or til slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool.
I'm lazy and like to use baby food prunes!

Hi! Oh Iīm glad that someone else also knows how to make the stars, and have given more info how to make them and I donīt have to count out the difference between our degrees, we have celsius in our ovens. 225-250 degrees celsius isnīt 440-480 degrees fahrenheit?
