Canned Sliced Apples

I've about quit making apple pies or my chopped apple cake because it's hard for me to peel apples lately. And I hate the apple pie fillings. They're so sicky sweet and yukky. This year I found canned sliced apple. They had them in Musselman's and store brand.Plain with just sugar and spiced. I bought Mussleman's spiced. Made my apple pies and they tasted great. I'm going to try them for chopped apple cake on St. Patrick's Day. Just thought I'd pass this along.

Snowberry, I am going to have to try those. This past week I needed some canned Cherry pie filling for a topping and its kind of expsensive. I bought a low sugar off brand and it was much better than the Wilderness and had tons of cherries in the can and not so much of that saucy stuff.
