I celebrate Birthdays with less flair than I used to. My mom was great at creating theme parties for Birthdays and organizing games. Once my brohter had a Hippie party and we had a parade around three city blocks that we still talk about from time to time.

I used to have parties for our dog, Ragmop. They were fun. The dogs in the neighbourhood would come over for a game of tag, fetch and then eat Dr.Ballard's food with a thin slice of cake. The owners ate cake!

:oops: Pickles wasn't allowed to come he was a little toooooooo friendly if you know what I mean.

:D Whenever I blew the candles out, I always wished for a horse.

She's doing well, but has some things to work on to help her memory, speech and processing the alphabet so she can read again. We're having a surprise party for her in the visitors lounge around dinner time. (Hope we don't have to eat hospital food). :D She'll be delighted.

Hey SarahE...yeah, now that I look back on that time, it was pretty cool to be a kid then.
No, no red hair...I wish!! But, my hairdresser works miracles so I can look like I'm (sort of) a redhead. Actually, a reddish-brown color. Funny that you mention it, 'cause I'm going tomorrow to get my hair done! I did have my hair dyed red once, but it's so hard to keep looking nice. So I ended up going more to the brunette side.

The really weird thing is both my brother and myself were predicted to be born on the 15th of march. I was the 10th and he waited until the 17th. To this day i hate being late for things and always get there early, my brother always leaves things till the last minute and ends up being late.

Thank you ElfSpirit. Probably not, As my family lives in VT and I really don't have that many friends, other than people online. My S/O and I will probably go out for dinner, but that is about it. 40 was the big day for me as my co-workers took me out after work, but I've been out of work and disabled for almost 10 years now.

Christmas is more important to me than any birthday I could ever have. I really enjoy celebrating Jesus' birthday as I am sure most everyone here does too.
