A little boy opened the big and old family Bible with fascination, and looked at the old pages as he turned them. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible, and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages.

"Momma, look what I found," the boy called out.

"What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked.

With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered: "I think it's Adam's suit!"

Me too. Dead leaves from no rain and too much heat just arent the same.

I'm thinking hot and dry conditions here will effect the leaf color this fall. They won't even turn colors, just drop.....dead

plus all the plants that won't make it thru the winter due to the drought we are having. This hasn't been a good summer

No it hasn't. We ground down and dug up some stumps earlier this year and Tom planted grass in their place. It took off like gangbusters and was nice and green. Now its not looking so good and I am not sure it has a good enough root system to return next spring.

Roots are overrated. I don't have roots and I get bigger every year.
