Hi guys, I'm back!

Hi guys, Commomom here. I know I haven't been here in a long time so I thought I would re-introduce myself. Some of you may know me as commolady from The Christmas Place. I've been real busy with things here at home so I haven't had much time to go online, but things seem to be under control again so I'm going to try to be here more.

For those of you who don't know me, I live in Whitney Point, NY. Been living here, let's see, it'll be 3 years in January. I love Christmas it's my favorite time of the year, followed closely by The 4th of July. Have two kids 6 and 3 (or will be in November) and I love showing them everything I love about Christmas from decorating the tree to listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies. I also really love the food from the holidays. The kids and I make Christmas cookies and we always make a recipe from my husbands family called a coffee ring. I also love to cross stitch and my daughter and I make Christmas cards together. I where my Santa hat every year from December first till New Year's. I usually get complaints that I start too early but I always turn to them and say, "How can you cram Christmas into just two weeks?" Last year my son was old enough to help decorate the tree and the first year we were living here all four of us participated in our church Christmas pagent. My son was just a baby then so guess what part he played. So of course, my husband and I had the honor of playing Mary and Joseph and my daughter was a Christmas Angel too. My husband also takes part in the Christmas Brass every year. He plays the trumpet.

So I guess that's it . I look forward to chatting with old friends and meeting some new ones here at Christmas Talk. :grin:

I figured when I saw the website was under construction and I got the email that said the domain was for sale. That's too bad, but I see a lot of the familiar faces have come here so, I'll be sticking around. 8-)

:-D Welcome back, where I come from we don't roll out the red carpet, we make welcome snowpeople instead (it gets cooooooooold here).

8-) I remember you mentioning the Christmas pageant before and I think it's so great that the entire family participates.

Yeah, we had a great time even though my daughter was the Christmas angel who wasn't that year. She got stage fright right before it started. Last year she was better, she actually got up there with the other angels and sang. It seems as time goes on the more she wants to participate and do her best which is great. It makes for some great memories. :M:

reminded me once when my DD was a lil girl she was to be a
flower girl at a wedding..a very big wedding on the water...well the
night before she got sick or stage fright. and the last minute we had to find a replacement...ugh...the bride was ok with it tho....i was glad..

Unfortunately I don't, like I was telling LIU, I don't know anything about web design but I know how to use Adobe Photoshop fairly well.

I'm just starting to put some plans together. I think the Christmas budget is going to be a little tight this year, but I will be glad to keep you posted.
