Got the idea to make small cutouts on our kitchen drawers, install a small glass window. Add a board making a compartment most any size behind the glass.

In it you can decorate with most anything. This is the first one I did and I dumped some buttons in it for now but at Christmas we plan to add Christmas light bulbs, Christmas cookie cutters, ornies, etc. I hope to have all our drawers done by Thanksgiving

I'd say there is a good chance of that happening, I wonder how airport security feels about carry on power drills and saws

I like that idea. I wonder how I missed this from so long ago. And we are still working on the kitchen. Now is my chance.

I have had very few run ins with fire ants, thankfully. I have had too much exposure to mold and grits, neither of which serves any purpose. As for the coons, I have seen a few, but the skunks are plentiful.

I have dodged a few skunks. A few years back I watched a bus driver pour tomato sauce all in her bus because she hit a skunk. I had to laugh.

I haven't seen any skunks at the new place. I have heard an owl, but that's about it.

I am waiting for fall, that seems to bring out all our fuzzy friends. Then again I bet the pumpkins bring in a few unwelcomed ones too.

In our kitchen we keep up a Christmas tree year-round...It is a tree covered with apples and other fruits and I have mini lights strung throughout. I love it. It's always Christmas in my kitchen.

email him number4son and ask him for a picture you can post here for everyone to see the finished project. He might not realize the picture left with him.8372

Twinkle I wish my hubby would let me leave a tree up all year. He keeps telling me I am burning him out on Christmas.8372
