I put up spiral trees and a wire frame reindeer this year. I bought all of the on sale the day after Christmas last year. I have to say I am very impressed with the trees, they are multi colored and really stand out.

Christy, those trees sound so pretty. I did buy some different outdoor decoratons after Christmas last year, and did not get them put up this year. I got a couple of blow mold lollipops and a holographic looking train. I still may try to get the train up if we get a day without wind. But I am running so late, that I finally got most of the indoor stuff up.

snowflake I didn't get out all of my stuff this year either. I did however put up some trees that folks gave me thru the year. I guess you could say my town thinks of me as the Christmas decoration refuge center. They tried to take them to another christmas decorator in the area but he tells them he doesn't want there junk. So I get it and I fix it up and put it out. I put out some toy soldier blowmolds along my walkway and when the lady that dropped them off here saw them she was so pleased at how well they looked after a good cleaning and some touch up paint. The guy that gave me a fiber optic 6' tree was amazed that I got it working. I made sure everything everyone gave me thru the year that it went out. Next year I will have to start really early as I have already gotten alot of Christmas stuff that people were throwing away and decided to bring it to me. I am going to have so many toy soldiers that I will have a army outside.:c53:

I went light this year, but perhaps that's because we're planning on much bigger things next year.

The only thing I put up that was "new" was a sign that says "Santa, stop here!" I think that's what it said. My hubby did put lights up around the flower gardens when I complained that it was too dark. He's such a sweetie.... tonight, he mentioned those lighted gift boxes that I bought after Christmas. Oh well, too late to take them back!

Even if it wasn't well lit, Santa knows where to stop.

i am going to try to get some of my outside things up this year. If I have time I am going to try to fix my lighted animated reindeer, that some kids cut a wire on several years ago. Maybe I can splice it or something.
Last year I bought a holographic train, so am anxious to see that. I hope it works, I never opened it after I bought it
