How do you decorate your Gingerbread cookies? I am looking for something different. I outline mine with white icing frosting and use red hots for the buttons, but my husband doesn't like eating the red hots. I don't like the raisins for buttons. I don't go into too much detail on the cookies. Would like to hear what others do........

Snowflake: I posted a picture under seasons eatings thread. It's a picture of the batch of gingerbread boy cookies. You can get an idea of how I did them this year...there are so many different ideas out there. I like your idea of lining the cookies with white frosting...wish I had thought of that.:c39:

It's never too late to add frosting. You could make him look like he's wearing a leisure suit!

#4son..I would have done that if I'd seen the message before boxing and packing and ready to ship...not going through all that trouble undoing that..but now I have the idea for next year thanks to Snowflake.:c71::c10:
